1. Can you pick us up at the airport?

Yes, we offer efficient car service to and from the airport, and anywhere in the New York metro area.  If you have arranged pick up, we will meet you at the airport approximately 30 minutes after you arrive on domestic flights, and an hour after you arrive on international flights (in order to give you time to pass through immigration and retrieve your luggage.)


Please proceed to the DEPARTURE level, walk out the doors, make a RIGHT TURN and walk to the LAST DOORWAY.  This is our standard meeting location.  We will not use a sign with your name on it.


Be sure to take your PRINTED CONFIRMATION with you, in order to have the information you will need for immigration.  If you have any problems, please call our driver at the number you were provided when you arranged car service.


2.  How often are the apartments cleaned?

Our apartments are thoroughly cleaned just before you arrive.  Should you need any cleaning service during your stay, please call our office at +12017061017.  Additional fees may apply.


3.  How far are you from Manhattan?

Most of our apartments in Jersey City are located within a 5 block radius of the Hudson River.  Manhattan is on the opposite shoreline.  Lower Manhattan can be accessed by water taxi, or by PATH subway in just a few minutes.  Once you in Manhattan, you can access any location by taxi or subway.  Please call us if you need any assistance in getting around.


4.  What kind of shopping/dining/entertainment does the neighborhood have?

Jersey City is considered one of the most metropolitan cities in America.  Nearly 3 million people live and work in Jersey City, and there are a multitude of excellent restaurants, shopping excursions and boutiques, theaters, coffee shops and diners all within walking distance of any of our properties.  Call us if would like information about walking tours, or need a recommendation of a place to dine.


5.  What is in the apartment?

All of our apartments are expertly furnished and appointed, from kitchen wares to hair dryers, luxury linens and towels to ironing boards.  We have it.  In addition, all of our kitchens are chef kitchens and are equipped to prepare meals for your family.  All of our apartments have television and WiFi.  Most of our properties have 24-hour fitness centers, and many of our locations have rooftop pools that are open during the summer.


6.  Can we bring our cat or dog?

Unfortunately, no.


7.  How do we get keys?

If you arrive before 8:00PM (20:00) you must check-in at one of our office locations.  Please be sure to make arrangements BEFORE you arrive so you know where to go.  We have several locations throughout Jersey City.  If you plan to arrive after this time, we will make alternative arrangements with you to check-in.  Please call us at +12017061017.


8.  What is the neighborhood like?  Is it safe? (New York/New Jersey)

Yes.  All of our properties are located in the historic downtown area of Jersey City known as “The Gold Coast.”  where many shops, restaurants and businesses are located.  Tourists feel welcome and the locals are always eager to give directions and advice.  The Gold Coast is known for very low crime, and Manhattan is considered the safest city in America.


9.  Can we check in early or check out late?  How about luggage storage?

You can check in anytime after 3:00PM and check out is anytime before 11:00AM.  Please call us at +12017061017 if you need to make alternate arrangements.  Late check-outs are granted only if we have no one checking in after you.  If your flight arrives in the morning and you need to check in before 3:00PM, we encourage you to book your stay starting a day early.


If you need to store your luggage between your arrival and check-in, or between your check-in and your departure, please call our office and we will make arrangements for you.


10.  Is tipping customary?

Yes.  And expected.  In restaurants, a worker’s pay is almost entirely from your “tip.”  It is customary to tip between 15-20% of your bill for sit down meal service.  It is not customary to tip in fast food restaurants, or restaurants where you order at a “counter.”  You should tip 15% for good service and 20% for great service.  Your server, or the manager may ask you the reason for the amount you choose.


For drivers, taxis, hair salons, spas, it is customary to tip in the same fashion.  15-20% depending on how good the service is.


If you experience poor service from any service provider, do not feel obligated to tip them, but please be prepared to discuss the matter with them.


11.  How long does it take to get to and from the airport?

The New York metro area has three major airports:  Newark Liberty International, LaGuardia, and John F. Kennedy.  All three are located between 20-22 km from our locations, but travel time can vary greatly.


For LGA and JFK, please allow up to THREE (3) hours travel by car or taxi, as traffic in Manhattan and the other boroughs of New York can be very bad and very time consuming.  For Newark, please allow about 30 minutes (does not require travel through Manhattan.)


It is important that you arrive at the airport at least two (2) hours prior to your departure for domestic flights and at least three (3) hours prior to your departure for international flights.


For example, if your international flight home leaves from JFK at 7:00 PM, you must leave your apartment by 1:00 PM.  (3 hours travel, 3 hours check in prior to departure.)
